Italian artist Alessandro Capozzi showcases a vulnerable side on his new track A Little Broken, his third release of 2024. The tattoo artist continues to showcases his impressive skills as a singer-songwriter, a truly multi-faceted talent, with A Little Broken shining as one of the creative’s strongest tracks yet.
Alessandro, now based in New York, shares: “I wrote this song after I understood a crucial thing: One night, I felt like I couldn’t handle what I was going through. Everything felt hard. Problems felt unfixable. Life seemed unfair. But then, I thought about something: we all have our past, our victories and our loss, we all feel down sometimes. It’s ok. I thought “I am just a little broken”. It hurt. Then I realized: it’s not just me, we’re all “a little broken”.”
Exploring this sense of persevering through hardships, and the spirit of strength that shines through, Alessandro continues: “Those little cracks we gained, those little marks left on us when “life happens” are what, ultimately, makes us who we are. It’s not unfair if we all have them. It’s how we deal with them that matters. How we grow with them. Like the Japanese art of Kintsugi teaches, when something breaks you could throw it away. Or. You could fix it. Putting it back together with gold, making it more beautiful than before. We’re all a little like that. A little broken. This song is about owning and celebrating those cracks. And appreciating how we’re still here, still standing.”
