Swedish pop duo Fame reunite with original stars Jessica Andersson and Magnus Bäcklund delivering a brand new track called Survivors. The former victors of Melodifestivalen with Give Me Your Love in 2003 haven’t released new music since 2005 single Gjorda För Varandra
The new track is penned Calle Kindbom, Daniel Jelldéus, Ian-Paolo Lira, Jessica Andersson, Simon Boustedt and Thomas G:son. The production takes an optimistic tone with a little bit of an eighties spin, whilst Jessica and Magnus sing this anthem of resilience and perseverance with big sweeping vocals. The number is produced by Simon Boustedt and Ian-Palo Lira, with the pair crafting a fitting canvas for these schlager icons to reunite upon.
The duo have recently finished a successful reunion tour leading up to the Christmas period, with Survivors marking a fitting end to their current run of shows. It is hoped that Jessica and Magnus will release a few more songs – or perhaps even a new Fame album.
