Hitting us immediately with his bold production style and commanding vocal presence, Paris-based musician Yassin Keetan’s latest single Impulse is a triumph. The rising French talent fell onto our radar with his equally excellent previous single Ce matin-là and continues to showcase his artistic finesse on his latest track.
Yassin has released a number of English language compositions since 2024, but Impulse and Ce matin-là see the star create music in the French language, yet Yassin’s compositions transgress language boundaries. The intoxicating cinematic production style of both tracks and the rising star’s vocal delivery are absorbing and atmospheric in equal measure.
