Keith Urban proves that he’s the master of the feel-good country track yet a terrible judge of cover art with the release of further treats from his upcoming album Ripcord. The as-yet-unreleased album’s third single, Wasted Time, is an upbeat summer country anthem packed with jaunty banjo and country-pop hooks.
Wasted Time follows John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16 and Break On Me which both hit #1 on the country charts. Whilst there is still no concrete tracklist for Ripcord, Urban has teased his upcoming collaboration with Nile Rodgers and Pitbull (yes, really), Sun Don’t Let Me Down – Keith is coming for that crossover pop hit.
Although the music released from Ripcord has been consistently great, sadly Keith’s not got the same ear for visuals as he does for sonics. The album’s dodgy cover art complete with bad eye-tint is available in its full horror below.
Hopefully that won’t stop you picking up the album on its May 6th release.
