Preview: Nick Bateman in Erotic Thriller ‘Ugly Love’

The romantic thriller is a genre set for a return thanks to the success of the financially lucrative, critically dubious Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation. Fortunately this has spurred on a few more interesting looking projects – one of which is the upcoming Ugly Love. Check out the official synopsis below:

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she knows it isn’t love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.


Ugly Love is based on Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same name and sees actor/model/martial artist Nick Bateman take the role of handsome pilot Miles Archer. We’re excited to see Bateman in a lead role (especially when the source material appears this steamy) as he’s impressed in smaller roles in action flicks Hobo with a Shotgun and Tapped Out.
