This one has been on our radar for a while – and now after seeing the first trailer for Netflix’s Grace and Frankie, we couldn’t be any more excited. The series sees frenemies Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) hit with the bombshell that their husbands (played by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston) are in love with each other.
Grace and Frankie is created by Marta Kauffman (of Friends fame) and Howard J. Morris, and marks another big name project for the online streaming giants. We’re especially looking forward to seeing the real life besties Fonda and Tomlin back on-screen together after their iconic pairing in 1980’s 9 to 5.
You can watch the trailer for the series below – we keep watching Tomlin belt out “I am young! My joints are supple.” on repeat now. All thirteen episodes debut on Netflix on May 8th.
