TV Trailer: Elizabeth Hurley in The Royals

We don’t like to think of ourselves as jumping to conclusions when we say The Royals is probably going to be the greatest television series ever made. E!’s first scripted drama stars Elizabeth Hurley as fictitious British monarch Queen Helena, with Joan Collins playing the Queen Mother. Now you see why we’re excited?

Created by One Tree Hill’s Mark Schwahn, The Royals taps into the world’s obsession with monarchy – following their soapy indulgences, lavish lifestyles and double crossing behind-the-scenes politics. We couldn’t be more excited. We’ve always said Elizabeth Hurley was a Queen (just watch Bedazzled or Method, folks) and now it is officially true.
